OUR LOVE STORY (according to Brittany)

These two “cutie-pies” met 3 years ago at an event in Savannah, Georgia. Brittany noticed this guy (her future husband) staring at her the entire time.  She kept telling her friend, “I hope he doesn’t come over here.”  Oh well, he walks over and asked to buy Brittany a drink.  Brittany style, she said “no thank you, I can buy my own drink.” (go Brittany!).   Several months passed until they saw each other again.  He asked her to go to breakfast with him.  Brittany style, she said “that isn’t a real date” (isn’t she cute!)  It took a while, but they finally had their “real” date.  Now, they’re on their “real date” for life.

The Proposal

It took place at the infamous Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia with friends and family.  Justin hired two guitarists to play, “Thinking Out Loud”.  (Sounds romantic to me.)

Okay, when I say this is a beautiful couple, I mean both inside and outside.  Both are easy on the eyes and kind from the heart.

Shawn and Kara met each other on a blind date at the 5 spot on November 11, 2014 and have been together ever since.  As quiet and laid back as Shawn is, he’s also got a “sneaky” side to him.  He planned the proposal with Kara’s coworkers.  When Kara was on call for work, he had one of her coworkers call her to come in to work unexpectedly.  When she got there, Shawn was there with rose petals and candles everywhere.  He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

This beautiful military couple tied the knot on July 30, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by an intimate reception at the historic Gingerbread House in Savannah, Georgia.  One week after saying their I Do’s, they embarked on their first adventure as a married couple in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Wow, what a wonderful place to begin their journey as Mr. and Mrs. Raub.  Aloha!

Morgan and Bradley met back in the summer of 2013 and immediately fell head-over-heels for one another.  Though their house may be divided one day out of the year (She’s a Tennessee grad and he’s a Georgia grad), their love for one another grows stronger every day.  Not only did they “tie the knot” on June 3, 2016 but they bought a house and adopted a puppy.  I would call this “the big year”.

The Meet UP

Chris and Jessica first met at a college party.  They became really good friends and later began dating.  After the “7 year itch”, they tied the knot this past weekend.

The Proposal

Chris did some great strategic planning to pull the proposal off.  Requested to Jessica’s boss for her to have the day off and even getting all their friends to be present.  After walking down the Tybee pier, Chris got down on “not 1 knee but both knees” and arranged for all the friends to appear at the same time.

Blog: Kyle and Nancy “Our Story”

Kyle and Nancy Carolyn met working as camp counselors for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  However, their love story didn’t truly start until they connected again at a UGA football game a year later.  Kyle and “NC”” were in a long distance relationship for 2 years, traveling each weekend to see one another at their respective locations.  From Mercer University in Macon, Ga. to Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina until Kyle got a job in Savannah which is now their home.

On their 2 year anniversary, Kyle took Nancy back to where they first met as counselors at Epworth By the Sea in St. Simons Island where he proposed to her in Lovely Lane Chapel.  It was all a complete surprise and Kyle even had an engagement dinner surprise with Kyle’s and Nancy’s family and closest friends in downtown Savannah after the proposal.

Now that is a sweet story.  Enjoy their love story through my lens.
